Here is some work I produced during my letterpress workshop, it is a quote from a speech from JFK.
Here is a preview of the work that we have been working on in letterpress in our groups for the studio project.
I took a photograph of this sign on the train this morning, I really liked the cracks on the image. At first I thought that the cracks were intentional and that it was part of the design but soon realised it was created naturally.
Here is some work from todays workshop. The aim of this part of the workshop was to try out different techniques of cropping images.
The next part of the workshop was to cut out all of the headlines and all the pictures from the newspaper and piece them together to create random images. Here are a few of mine.
I especially like this one I think it works so well and implications are really funny.

A few more images from the last few workshops.
Drawing of a spanner with my left hand
One element of Collage
Two elements of Collage
Three elements of Collage
The last three pieces are collages experimenting with white space. I really enjoyed this workshop, I think i produced some good humorous work from it.

I took a photo of this image from the Tate Britain, this was my favourite piece of work that I found throughout the day. I didnt take down the artists name because I was to busy trying to catch up with my mates, but I really liked it. At first glance I thought it said "I'm a realist" which is a song by a band that I like and I thought it might have had something to do with that, but it didnt. I like how the image is in black and white and how the typography on the board is relatively plain but the piece as a whole is quite powerful. Also I like the idea of a photograph of a person holding a sign with a statement on it, I wish I had thought of this idea.
